What is util.quest, and who's behind it?

util.quest is a home for the small web tools I make in my spare time. Every project here started as a thing I needed and figured others might too — so I cleaned it up and put it online, free.

There's no grand business plan. The core of everything stays free forever. A couple of tools have an optional freemium tier for heavier use, and that's it. No accounts required to try anything.

I also give away subdomains. If you've built something with a free or freemium tier and it fits the spirit of the place, you can host it at yourthing.util.quest at no cost. Ask for one here.
